How to Fill the CAT 2026 Application Form
- Visit the CAT website and click "Register" under New Candidate Registration
- Enter your name, date of birth, email address, country, and mobile number, then verify via OTP
- Retrieve the system-generated User ID and Password sent to your email and mobile
- Log back in under Registered Candidate Login and click "GO TO APPLICATION."
- Fill in personal details, emergency contact numbers, and communication address.
- Enter your academic record, such as Class 10, Class 12, and Bachelor's degree marks, plus any higher qualifications
- Add post-graduation full-time work experience completed up to July 31, 2026, if applicable
- Select your preferred IIM programmes and the corresponding interview city for each
- Choose five distinct test-city preferences, ranked by priority
- Upload all necessary documents
- Click "Preview," verify every field, tick the confirmation checkbox, and accept the payment declaration
- Pay the fee and then, submit

Basic Eligibility for CAT 2026
- A bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks
- Final-year graduation students can also apply, provided they complete their degree with the required percentage before admission
- There's no upper age limit to appear for CAT
