CAT 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to September 22: Last Chance to Apply, No Further Extension Expected

In a relief for candidates who haven't yet completed their application, the IIMs have pushed the CAT 2026 registration deadline from September 15 to September 22, 2026, 5:00 PM. The catch: this time, the authorities have explicitly stated there will be no further extension, so this really is the final window. 

How to Register for CAT 2026

Candidates can complete their CAT 2026 registration by following these steps:

1. Visit the CAT 2026 official registration portal and click on the registration link
2. Create a new account using your name, email ID, and mobile number
3. Log in and fill in your personal, academic, and work experience details
4. Select up to five preferred test cities for the CAT 2026 exam
5. Upload the required photograph, signature, and supporting documents in the prescribed format
6. Pay the CAT 2026 application fee online and submit the completed form
