75,000+ aspirants. No guaranteed MBA seat.
More than 75,000 candidates take NMAT every year, but NMAT has no fixed pass/fail list. Your score is only the beginning — each B-school has its own admission criteria and cutoffs.
With competition for good MBA colleges, one disappointing score or missed cutoff can leave you searching for another option.
Don’t leave your MBA plans to one score.

Unlike CAT or most other management entrance tests that run on a single fixed exam day, NMAT gives candidates a roughly seven-week delivery window (November 2 to December 20) to choose their own test date, time, and centre. Candidates can also attempt the exam up to three times within this window, a first attempt plus up to two retakes and the best of these scores is typically considered for admission. This flexibility is one of NMAT's biggest draws for candidates juggling other exam prep or work commitments alongside their MBA applications.

NMAT 2026: Application Fee
Registering for NMAT costs ₹3,000 plus applicable taxes. Beyond the base registration fee, candidates should also budget for possible additional costs if they choose to reschedule their exam slot or use one of their retake attempts GMAC typically charges separately for these, so it's worth reviewing the fee structure on the official site before assuming ₹3,000 covers every possible scenario.
