The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised its examination calendar for major national-level examinations for 2026–27 on 26 October 2026. The changes cover the UGC NET 2026 December cycle, CSIR-UGC NET 2026, JEE Main 2027 Session 1, and CUET PG 2027 Exam. Students should remember that the dates published in the calendar are proposed dates. Exam Dates Have Changed By NTA

Major national-level examination changes made by NTA are given below:

UGC NET Revised Exam Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam dates. Earlier, the UGC NET exam dates were 14 December-19 December 2026, with 20 and 21 December 2026 as buffer dates. However, under the revised dates, NTA has now announced that the exam will be held from 14 to 18 and on 21 December 2026. According to the NTA calendar, 19 December is no longer a UGC NET exam date.

Joint CSIR-UGC NET Revised New Dates

CSIR-UGC NET 2026 was earlier planned for 20 December 2026 to 21 December 2026, but now the National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the CSIR-UGC NET dates. The revised dates are 19,22 and 27 December 2026.

JEE Main Session 1 Revised Dates

Earlier, the JEE Main Session1 2027 tentative dates were 20,21,22,23,24 and 28 January 2027, and 31 January 2027 as a buffer date, but now NTA has revised all the dates and decided to remove the buffer date now the new exam dates are 20-24and 28 january 2027

CUET PG 2027 Revised Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the CUET PG 2027 exam dates. Earlier, the exam dates were 1 to 5, 8, 12 to 20, 24 to 25 March 2027, and now the revised dates are 2 to 5, 8 to 9, 12, 15 to 19, 24 to 25, 29 to 31 March 2027

• Make a timetable and give some extra time to your weaker portions.
• Always make short notes for quick revision.
• Solve previous years' question papers.
