Alongside the provisional answer key, RRB has also put out candidates' individually recorded responses and the question papers used across shifts. This lets aspirants cross-check their own attempted answers against the official key and get a fairly accurate estimate of their score before the final result is out. Keep in mind, though, that this key is provisional it's open to challenge, and only the final key (published after objections are reviewed) will be used to compute results.
Did You Know? RRB Group D 2026 received 52.40 lakh applications for just 22,195 vacancies. That works out to around 236 candidates competing for every single post. With such intense competition, clearing the CBT does not guarantee selection, as candidates still have to qualify the PET, document verification and medical examination.
If RRB Group D doesn’t work out, don’t let one recruitment cycle put your career on hold. Consider an Online Degree With CollegeVidya from a UGC-approved university as a Plan B while preparing for other government exams or building qualifications for private-sector opportunities.
Spotted a wrong or ambiguous answer in the key? Here's how to formally challenge it:
The objection window closes on September 15, 2026. RRB has been clear that no objections will be entertained once this deadline passes, regardless of how strong the grounds for challenge is. So candidates who wish to dispute any answer should complete the process well before the last date to avoid last-minute technical glitches on the portal.
Once objections are compiled, a panel of subject experts reviews each valid challenge. Based on this review, RRB releases a final, revised answer key, and it's this final key, not the provisional one, that's used to calculate scores and decide the result and cut-off marks for CEN 09/2025 Level-1 posts.
